Johnathan Sia is a man of many interests and skills, including voiceovers and emceeing. He got his first foray into voiceovers in 2005 because a member of the management felt that he ‘loved to talk and be heard’.
Before that, he was doing many small scale emcee duties for the sports & recreational club of his company, Deloitte. Within a year, he ‘graduated’ to larger scale emceeing duties such as Deloitte Malaysia’s alumni gatherings and later, Deloitte’s regional partners conference (which consisted of the various partners of Deloitte member firms in the SEA region).
His experience with both formal & informal emceeing helps him adapt quickly to notoriously flexible (and sometimes volatile) event schedules.
Aside from emceeing, Johnathan is a freelance voice talent and also does freelance article writing, copywriting, and editing. He also sings regularly with Six2Eight, a popular acapella group based in Kuala Lumpur.
Previous voiceovers:
2005 Deloitte Enterprise 50 launch video.
2006 Deloitte Tax Academy launch video.
2007 Hong Leong Assurance corporate video: Promoting a trip to Spain for their agents.
2007 K-Metal Structures corporate video: Introducing the company and their products.
2008 2nd Deloitte SEA Partners Conference opening video
2008 Opening narration for a church produced DVD to introduce the speaker & to close off the video.
